BOS started inside a Sydney remediation company. Every day brought a flood of email — quotes to send, supplier invoices to chase, insurer and client correspondence, crews to roster and jobs to track.

We went looking for one tool that could handle all of it. What we found was a stack of separate apps: one for jobs, one for rostering, one for quotes, another for expenses — each charging per user, none talking to the others, and the total bill far beyond what a small business could justify.

So, on a small budget, we built our own. It started with the inbox — sorting email, reading invoices and filing correspondence against the right project — and grew into the projects, quotes, contractors, rosters and expenses we needed to run the business.

BOS is that tool, opened up to other small businesses. It doesn’t replace Xero. It does the day-to-day work Xero doesn’t — at a price a small operator can actually afford.
